Dr. Macari conducts Psychoeducational Evaluations for students struggling in the classroom. These evaluations are used to identify learning disabilities,
autism, ADD/ADHD, giftedness, mental retardation, and other conditions that can affect a student's performance.
A full psychoeducational evaluation includes biographical data review, psychological testing and assessment,
an interpretive conference, and a written report.
The evaluations typically include school-based recommendations, which can be incorporated into a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Consultation with the student's school is provided upon request. This consultation can include classroom observations, school-based behavioral interventions, student advocacy, and educational
counseling.
If you have any questions regarding Psychoeducational Evaluations, don't hesitate to contact Dr. Macari.
